A local slice of history since 1982.

Our story began over four decades ago when we rolled out our dough, fired up our ovens, and created our very first handcrafted pizza. From that moment, we've been on a mission to serve the best, most delicious pizzas to our community. Founded by Tumwater native Dennis Gard in 1982, the first BCP opened in Tumwater and soon expanded to West Olympia and Lacey locations, becoming Thurston County’s beloved pizzeria.

Today, Brewery City Pizza continues as a family operation, owned by brothers Dan and Jonathan Tweten who are committed to seeing through BCP’s original mission of making the best pizzas with the best ingredients and serving as a family-friendly, casual gathering spot for the community.

Over the years, we've grown, but our commitment to quality and our passion for pizza-making has remained the same. Each BCP location is deeply rooted in the community and has become more than just a place to grab a great meal; they are gathering spots where friends and family come together to create memories by sharing a Brewmaster, watching the game, and catching up over a beer, to celebrating end of season parties.

We believe that great pizza is a combination of hand-crafted artistry and the finest ingredients. From our dough to our sauces, it’s a made-by-hand operation, or as we like to call it “where crust meets craft”. We craft everything fresh daily, following our secret recipes passed down from the start. Our toppings are locally sourced whenever possible, reflecting our commitment to both quality and community support.

Beyond our passion for creating mouthwatering pizzas, we are equally devoted to giving back to the community that has embraced us for so many years. We love to sponsor local events, schools, and charities, and we actively participate in community initiatives that matter most to our neighbors through our Pizza with Purpose program.
